Mr. D.T. Jackson is a Georgia native, born and raised in Atlanta. He attended B. T. Washington High School and Morehouse College. Mr. Jackson served in the Marine Corp and in Vietnam. He is widowed with three children.
He is a member of Hunters Ridge Homeowners Association and is a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church, where he serves as an usher and a member of the Men’s Fraternity.
He has over 40 years of experience in the financial recovery industry, with 32 years of management experience managing up to 80 employees, including the responsibility of a monthly inventory of over $80 million.
Mr. Jackson is the Douglas County Board of Education Vice Chair. He is in his fourth term, which began January 1, 2023 and ends December 31, 2026.
