Students at Chapel Hill Elementary and Chapel Hill Middle met the challenge to “Be A Reading Machine” during the third nine weeks of school.
The schools won the Beanstack Challenge with the highest percentage of students logging 20 minutes of reading each day.
Chapel Hill Middle has won the trophy for all three challenges this year, while Chapel Hill Elementary has won the challenge in back-to-back nine-week periods.
Congratulations to both schools!
The new Beanstack Challenge runs through May 2 and is called “Team Douglas LOVES Literacy.” Students must read at least 600 minutes and write at least one book review to complete the challenge.
