CCI students with their Certified Marketing Program of Excellence banner

The Douglas County College and Career Institute and Douglas County High School marketing DCHS students with their Marketing Bannerprograms recently earned certification from the American Marketing Association (AMA). This industry certification is a testament to their commitment to excellence in business education and hands-on learning.

As part of the rigorous certification process, students showcased their marketing expertise through interactive presentations, a website demonstration, a guided tour of the school store, and an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the school’s print shop and marketing labs. These activities highlighted their mastery of marketing principles, customer engagement strategies, and business operations.

"Earning Marketing Industry Certification is significant because it validates our instructor's and students’ knowledge and skills in the key areas of digital marketing, branding, analytics, advertising, and content creation," said Bakahai Litman, Principal/CEO of CCI.
