First-year New Manchester baseball coach Jeff Tuggle has his sights set on making it to the postseason.
During the recent Spring Sports Media Day, Tuggle highlighted two standout players.
Anthony Blackshear, the team's only senior, serves as a pitcher and utility infielder for the Jaguars. Jarrell Reynolds plays center field and also takes the mound as a pitcher.
“We have a young team, but we have a very talented team, and we're going to start some new traditions and new expectations for our program,” Tuggle said. “We expect to make the region tournament and playoffs this year and be very competitive.”
