Congratulations to the Douglas County School System's Super Scholars! West Georgia Living Magazine recently recognized several members of the Class of 2021 as being the leaders of tomorrow.  Here are more details on the five seniors representing the Douglas County School System.



Madison Bradley

Madison Bradley

has maintained a 3.82 while being a cheerleader and part of New Manchester High School’s Fine Arts Magnet Program. Principal Tekmekia Gilchrist says Madison has all the qualities of a great leader. She is a member of the National Society of High School Scholars and is a member of the Tri-M Music Honor Society. Principal Gilchrist says after graduation,  Bradley will continue to leave her mark on the world in a big way. “I have seen so many examples of her talent and have been impressed by her diligence and work ethic,” she says. After graduation, Madison will pursue further academic studies at a four year university that will prepare her for a career in finance, investment banking or philanthropy.

Jaden Cobb

is an International Baccalaureate

Jaden Cobb

Senior at Douglas County High School. He is also SGA President and former president of the National Honor Society. He is the co-founder and communications director of Becca’s Closet, a non profit that collects and distributes prom dresses to girls in need. Principal Andre Weaver describes him as a phenomenal young man who inspires students with "his willingness to lead, inspire and achieve.” After graduation, Jaden will study at Georgetown University, where he will major in political science. He will later attend law school and work in government.
