The next Pre-K Parent Night will take place on Thursday, February 13, at 6:30 p.m. at the Douglas
County School System Central Office (11490 Veterans Memorial Hwy., Douglasville, GA 30134).
This meeting is for Douglas County Pre-K students and their parents.
At this meeting, we will discuss and explore:
The importance of print concepts in early learning, including understanding the role of the author and illustrator, print directionality, and distinguishing letters from words.
Ways to encourage a love of books and reading at home.
Fun activities and strategies to support literacy development.
A light dinner will be provided, and interpreters will be available to assist all families.
As an added incentive, the early learning center with the highest family attendance will receive an Amazon gift card!
