In a thrilling rain-soaked quarterfinals matchup Monday night, the Lithia Springs Lions defeated Jayden Graham runs for a gain in the Lions quarterfinal matchup with Blessed Trinity.Blessed Trinity 20-14. Jayden Graham’s clutch interception as time expired sealed the victory, sending Lithia Springs to the Georgia High School Association Division 3 state flag football semifinals.

"She's just a dog," Lithia Springs coach Kendra Pleasants said of Graham after the game. "When I say perseverance... She just wanted it bad. She's going after everything. Good grades in the classroom, just an outstanding athlete."

Lithia will host Pace Academy on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.

A win Thursday would vault the Lions to their fourth consecutive appearance in the state championship game, which is scheduled for next Tuesday at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
