Climate Survey logo

The Georgia School Climate Survey (GSCS) is an anonymous, statewide survey instrument that identifies school safety and climate issues that impact student achievement. In order to provide a safe and supportive learning environment for your child, the Georgia Department of Education collects survey information from students during the school year. The survey is customized to elementary students in grades 3 - 5 and middle/high school students in grades 6 - 12.

The Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment (PPRA) gives parents/guardians the right to opt their child(ren) out of participating in the survey. If you do not wish for your child to participate in the Georgia School Climate Survey, please complete the form below and send it back to your child’s school by Friday, November 22, 2024.
