Factory Shoals Middle School’s football team rode its defense to a 20-6 win over Chapel Hill Factory players celebrate.Middle School in the Douglas County Middle School Football Championship, Tuesday night.

The Knights had two interception returns for touchdowns, including a Pick 6 in the fourth quarter by Ashaun Smith to seal the victory.

Chauncey Young’s Pick 6 in the first half helped Factory Shoals to a 13-6 lead at intermission.

Quarterback Justin Stephenson scored the Knights’ only offensive touchdown on a keeper.

Chapel Hill’s touchdown came just before halftime on a quarterback sneak up the middle by Jayse Young.

Factory Shoals finishes the season at 8-1 overall.

The following players were named to the DCMSAC All-Conference Team:

• Mason Creek Middle School: De'Marquis Steen, Ahmani Montgomery, Chidera Samson-Omekarah and Jhakari Matthews.

• Stewart Middle School: Antwon Harris, Cameron Anderson, Carson Smiley and George Marbury.

• Turner Middle School: Di'Angelo Shell and Kyle Bankston.

• Fairplay Middle School: Dwayne McCray and Bentley Bowen.

• Yeager Middle School: Jerome Watts.

• Chestnut Log Middle: Akhi Reeves.
