Douglas County School System 2024-2025 Teachers of the Year, including District TOTY Brooke Morris from Alexander High, Middle School TOTY Wynne Lougher from Chapel Hill Middle and Elementary TOTY Katie Plumley from Bill Arp Elementary, were recognized during Heroes Day at the annual September Saturdays Festival on September 21 at the Douglas County Courthouse.
