Douglas County High School’s volleyball team is looking forward to a bright new future.
New Lady Tigers Coach Kellie Hornberger is counting on team captains Kynedie Thomas and Andriana Toro for leadership this season.
Toro is the only senior on the squad, while Thomas is the team’s setter.
“We're looking forward to a bright new future,” Hornberger said. “We have a very young team this year, and we're looking to kind of build toward the future and have a very strong season this year. I know I have a lot of young girls, but we have a lot of young talent. We’re a very strong team, and we're looking to have a very exciting season and build on from last year.”
Thomas added that she is “very excited to see what we have and grow with this team.”
