Factory Shoals Middle School is buzzing with excitement over three exciting after-school clubs led by Media Specialist Katrina Barnett. Over the past two weeks, over 40 enthusiastic students have filled the media center after school to take part in the book club, yearbook club, and Knightly News crew.

These clubs offer students opportunities to explore their interests outside the regular school day.

"We're thrilled to see so many students taking advantage of these enriching opportunities," said Barnett. "These clubs allow our students to explore their passions, develop crucial skills, and build meaningful connections with their peers."

Barnett says the book club allows avid readers to discover new adventures, while the yearbook club allows students to document the school year. In addition, the Knightly News crew works to keep their school community informed.

The students and staff at Factory Shoals Middle School eagerly anticipate the positive impact that these clubs will have on student creativity and personal growth. As the school year progresses, Barnett and her students are excited to discover even more opportunities to grow and thrive.
