This special appearance was made possible by the Arbor Station Parent-Teacher-Student Organization (PTSO), Principal Dr. Emily Felton said.

Tucker, whose passion for storytelling has captivated many, was awarded a generous $25,000 grant from talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, recognizing his commitment to promoting kindness and the importance of reading among young students.

During the assembly, Tucker delivered a heartfelt message about kindness, encouraging students to practice compassion and empathy, both in and out of the classroom. His engaging storytelling style captivated the students, leaving them inspired and eager to embrace kindness in their lives.

Following the assembly, Tucker visited each 3rd through 5th grade classroom, where he spoke directly with students about the significance of reading and the incredible power of writing.

He introduced them to his innovative writing program, designed to transform the dreams of young authors into reality. Through his "Share Your Story" initiative, students have the unique opportunity to turn their personal narratives into published books, combining their imagination with artistic expression.

“Stan Tucker's visit served as a powerful reminder of the importance of kindness and creativity in education,” Felton said. “His passion for literature and commitment to nurturing young talent inspired both students and educators alike.”
