Sixth and seventh-grade Wildcats were all smiles as they embraced their colorful side, exploring Spanish names for colors and crafting vibrant bracelets. Each student was eager to engage in bilingual learning as they settled into the first week of classes.
CHMS Spanish teacher Yovana Chong cherishes every moment spent with her creative scholars.
“I enjoy each class with my students and remember that each day is a special day to learn and enjoy two languages. It was nice to see the smiling faces of the students and their families at sneak-a-peek learning the Spanish translation for ‘Welcome to Class’.”
Chong is excited to continue her passion for teaching and learning another language this school year.
