H. A. V. E. N. provides comprehensive special education, behavioral, and therapeutic
support for students with Severe Emotional Behavior Disorders and Autism. The department
serves students within the Douglas County School System.  H. A. V. E. N. renders services aimed
at supporting students with social, emotional, and/or behavioral challenges.

H. A. V. E. N. is part of the Georgia Network for Educational and Therapeutic Support (GNETS), which is comprised of 24 departments statewide that support students with identified disabilities from every school system in Georgia.  Services are implemented with greater intensity and frequency than what is typically delivered in a general education school environment in order to support students in deescalating and consistently using appropriate social skills and replacement behaviors.
