Internet4classrooms is a collection of ideas for parents concerning homework. You can also click on individual subject areas and get a collection of sites by topic.

The Khan Academy offers a free online collection of thousands of free tutorials and videos in a variety of subjects. Khan has also partnered with College Board to provide free SAT/PSTAT practice.

Shmoop provides a wide variety of study materials to kids and teens to help them learn about different subject areas including literature, Math, science and many more.

BrainPOP creates animated, curricular content that engages students, supports educators, and bolsters achievement. All lessons starts with a video introduction and cover various topics. BrainPOP includes games, quizzes, and activity sections for science, health, social studies, math, and writing. Some of it has a cost associated with it, but the link takes you to the free resources.

GeorgiaStandards.Org allows parents easy access to information about the state’s standards. This web site also offers a variety of free resources to help you motivate and support your child’s curriculum at home while reinforcing the standards your child is working on in the classroom

Georgia Milestone Assessment Guides for End of Grade testing are available for grades 3 through grade 8.. The Study/Resource Guides are intended to serve as a resource for parents and students. They contain practice questions and learning activities for each content area. The standards identified in the Study/Resource Guides address a sampling of the state-mandated content standards.

The End of Course (EOC) Assessment Guides are a supplemental resource and are provided to complement, not replace, other instructional resources developed by the local school district or the example resources provided by the Curriculum and Instruction Division of the Georgia Department of Education. In principle, the EOC Assessment Guides are intended to be descriptive of the assessment program and should not be considered all-inclusive.
