New Report: Percentage of Positive COVID Cases at Each School

Beginning the week of August 23, the Douglas County School System will report a summary of COVID-19 cases and the percent of positive cases per school location from Friday to Thursday among
students and staff.
A case is defined as a person with a positive COVID test. Cases are summed across staff and students enrolled and/or
working at the school location. The percent of cases per school (location) represents the number of cases within the school divided by the
school’s total student and staff population.
DCSS offers this new report in an effort to provide transparency and context of COVID in the schools and office locations.
